Sin is No Longer Your Master

When we understand that grace is not a thing but the person of Jesus Christ. And when you understand that it puts this verse into context. "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace." The law condemns. If we try to live the Christian life under rules and regulations, we will fall flat on our face. God does not hold our sins against us anymore, thanks to the person and work of Jesus Christ. Jesus invites us to let go of the law and embrace the gift of grace. It makes all the difference. * Byron emails: "I believe Romans 6, find myself stuck in Romans 7, and praise the Lord for Romans 8!" * Marie is confused about all the different teaching and how it makes her feel inadequate. * Eddie asks about Jesus talking to the people in parables. * Ruth asks about how we are to "work out our salvation" if salvation is not by works.
