A Heart of Thankfulness

When you pray prayers that matter, you're really praying prayers that have been shaped by the grace of God. And they connect to the will of God. His will is the new covenant. We see in Paul's prayers a heart of thankfulness. If the grace of God shapes how we pray we will find a note of thankfulness in our prayers too. Second to thankfulness is that we'll pray about things that really matter. And that's what we read in Ephesians 3:17-19 "...I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God." * What is the sin of the spirit in regards to 2 Corinthians 7:1? * Kim concerned about the number 6 and seeing it so often... specifically in triplicate. * Mark wonders if God will have mercy on him because of his smoking. * Stan thinks he missed God's will for his life and wonders if he can redeem himself and get happy.
