New Life

The third promise of the New Covenant is this: "No longer will they teach their neighbor or say to one another, “know the Lord,” because they will all know me from the least of them to the greatest." This promise is the essence of eternal life. As Jesus said, eternal life is this; that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. Think about this. Because you have born of God, You now know the God of the Universe. You know what he is truly like. You know his love, grace, and forgiveness. You know his faithfulness and mercy. You know his mind and his ways. And this makes you different in this world. Which makes you uniquely qualified to make him known to others.
