No Longer Enslaved to Sin

Today we're continuing our conversation on the resurrection. Just as Christ was raised, the moment we are saved, we pass from death to life. In Romans 6 Paul writes: "For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--because anyone who has died has been set free from sin." * Could you please explain 1 peter 4:18? If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner? * I struggle with my witness verbally at work. Even when opportunities come I seem to blow it. I don't say anything when I should. When Jesus said "if you deny me before men, I'll deny you before the father", does that apply to me? How does what Jesus said to apply to "grace" in my life as a believer?
