Recognizing the hardness of the religious leaders’ hearts, Jesus tells a parable that points to their coming judgment. Even though they realize the parable to be speaking against them, they refuse to soften and continue to seek his arrest. This passage is a sobering reminder that, even though some will hear the truth, they will remain steadfast in their opposition to Jesus. 1. A vineyard (v. 1)2. A story of grace & judgment (vs. 2-9)3.
