A Love that Surpasses Knowledge

Just a Minute! - Bob Christopher I’ll never forget the first time I saw Jerusalem. Our bus driver took us up the back side of Mt. Scopus. We drove through a tunnel, and as we crested the hill, there it was. We stopped at an overlook and got out of the bus. I wasn’t expecting the emotion. But seeing the place where Jesus bled and died and was raised to life simply overwhelmed me. Tears rolled down my cheeks. The same was true for everyone else in our group. For each of us it was a moment when the love of God became even more personal and real. That Jesus actually died for me and rose again so that I could live with him. As Paul said, this is a love that surpasses knowledge. And it’s a love that has been poured out in your heart.
