"What is the practical ramification of the resurrection? Why is this so important. Paul describes it this way: "Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ ..." Philippians 3:8-11 If you want to have eternal life the only way to do that is to know God. And because Jesus dealt with death once for all, we can do that. * In Exodus 20 verse 7 it says "thou shalt not take your lord's name in vain". So, if you say "oh my God" is that taking his name in vain? * Could you please explain Acts 19:1-7? It seems to indicate that receiving the Holy Spirit is a separate event from believing, and requires the laying on of hands. * Who are the seraphim and how many are there?
