In this story we see an incredible picture of what it means to have a life changing encounter God. Naaman was on a search for healing and deliverance from a disease that would force him to be an outcast and eventually take his only life. His freedom is not through powerful kings, wealthy men, or by being good enough. Rather, it was through a young slave girl who gives us one of the clearest Old Testament pictures of Jesus Christ. It was through the suffering of Christ that we found deliverance and freedom. After, Naaman had a life-changing encounter with God his life was different. He did not disengage from his current occupation, but rather he sought to live extraordinarily consistent in every part of his life. We too are called to live consistently in worship to God our Father no matter what circumstance or job occupation we find ourselves in. 1. A Forgiving Heart (vs. 1-3)2. A Proud Heart (vs. 4-13)3.
