BP This Week: 3 Stories of Faith Under Assault
BreakPoint
Published on 04/20/2018
John Stonestreet and Ed Stetzer talk about three jarring stories that illustrate how the cultural tide has turned against faith: Sen. Cory Booker’s grilling of Secretary of State nominee Mike Pompeo about his beliefs on marriage, an article in the New Yorker bemoaning the “weird infiltration” of New York by Christian-owned Chick-fil-A restaurants, and the passage of a bill by the California Assembly that would outlaw any “goods” or “services” that would promote gender conversion therapy. The also discuss a recent Washington Post article entitled “Too Many Men,” referring to the horrific gender imbalance in China and India. As John and Ed note, a more accurate headline should read “Too Few Women,” because millions of baby girls have been the target of sex-selection abortion.
