The greatest stories are those that involve daring rescue.
Like what Oskar Schindler did during WWII saving the lives of more than 1000 Jews during the Holocaust.
And what my friend Wally is doing it today to rescue and restore the lives of young girls and boys from human trafficking.
These inspire me because they reflect the story of God’s great rescue mission.
Paul penned it this way: “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.”
Because of Jesus’s death burial and resurrection, you are free my friend.
God rescued you from the powers of sin and death and set you free to experience new life in Christ.
And that’s good news.
