RUF is the official college campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. Les Newsom served as a campus minister for 17 years. In the summer of 2011, Les took a position as an Area Coordinator for RUF in Alabama, Mississippi, West Tennessee, and Arkansas. Serving 20 campuses as a coordinator, he continues to speak at conferences and churches throughout the region.

Les begins a series on the historic “order of salvation” (Lt. “ordo salutis”), a study we’re calling “Turning the Gem.” The jewel of our salvation is looked at each week in a different turning on each of the aspects in the Order. This morning, we look at the overarching truth of the Order of Salvation that doesn’t really fit the “order.” Union with Christ is THE defining characteristic of the Christian life.
