Crucified, Mark 15:21-47

Jesus Christ was crucified and took the penalty for the sins of the world upon himself. By his death we are offered access to God through faith. Ironically, it was a Roman centurion who after witnessing his death would confess, “Truly this man was the Son of God!” (Mark 15:39).
