Focus. Have a clear idea of who you’re going to be, what you’re going to be, where you’re going, and where you’re not going. Decide what systems, strategies, and models you will set in place, and find your own focus that will work within your culture, context, and location. 2. Faculty. A multi-site approach will only work if you invest time in developing your leaders for multiple locations. Raise a team of leaders who will carry your church culture with them to other locations.3. Facilities. Unless you can find spaces to meet in, you’re not going to be able to start new locations. Establish non-negotiables that fit the vision you have for your church.4. Finances. Make sure you have the finances and resources you need before even considering going multi-site. Once your finances are stabilized and secure in one location, it may have the means to support other locations. Quotes From This Episode:“Multi-site isn’t for everyone and we have to be okay with that.” - Josh Gagnon“We’ve got to make sure who we are is obedient to who God calls us to be.” - Josh Gagnon“A good idea isn’t always a God idea.” - Josh Gagnon“We get so polluted in the church world when we try to pretend that everybody is called to what we’re called to.” - Josh Gagnon“We can’t get caught up in what’s better, we have to be caught up in who we are.” - Josh Gagnon“Multi-site doesn’t fix the problems in leadership you have, multi-site multiplies the problems you have in leadership.” - Josh Gagnon“I would rather wait to launch the right location in the right facility than too quickly launch the right location in the wrong facility.” - Josh Gagnon
