Ep 047: The 6 Things I Wish I Knew Starting Out in Ministry (Part 1)

Don’t get into the mindset of “we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.” Find solutions now and put out fires right away. Find the right people for the right position. Start with the finish line in mind. 2. A big vision is in danger when it’s given to someone who either does nothing with it or moves too fast with it. Failure is a good reminder of moving too quickly. Try to be aware of when your pace is the problem, and then fix the problem. Surround yourself with a team with a slightly slower pace. 3. Say “no” for others, but be more comfortable asking them to step into radical sacrifice. Start with “yes”, and never assume people will say “no”.
