Our hope for you as leaders is to not be afraid of change. If you find that you’re making something better, embrace it. Here are some key points on today’s episode:We’ve made some changes!:If you’re too over/under emphasized in any particular area, there will be no balance and it can stop the growth of your church. It does not matter how many first, second, third time guests you have, if you cannot disciple them. We’ve transitioned into a church management system called “Rock” online. “Rock” is a program that works for our church but does not necessarily work for every church. All of our information on our members are stored in that database, so for follow ups everything we need for contact information is already there. Follow up!: For a first time guest, we make sure to welcome them and have them fill out our welcome card. We do not spend a lot of time on first time guest in our announcements, but we do want to make sure they feel comfortable. We want first time guests know we are not going to use their information on the card for anything other than reaching out, and making them feel welcome. First time guests and decisions for Christ are very important things that Location Pastors need to learn to invest their time in. We try to decentralize some of those steps and focus on putting tools and skills into our Location Pastors, while trusting them to be great decision makers. We found that out of the e-mail, text, hand written note, and phone call that is placed onto the connect card, that they are not always filled out on each line and can sometimes be filled out incorrectly. When we have four different type of contact, it makes connecting after their first time experience easier on helping them continue their journey with God. In our Kid’s department for first time guests, we have them check in and enter their families information into our database system. Whoever is at the check-in station at that time, will then follow up with our first time guests with a handwritten letter. They let them know to have the child bring back the card to be able to pick out a prize that following weekend. We do this as a small incentive to bring families back. One type of follow up that we offer is for those who choose to become a follower of Christ. Once they dedicate their lives to God, we send them a video from our Pastor Josh explaining what it looks like to make that decision to follow Christ.Mighty Call Script “_____, thanks for being at Next Level Church today - we're glad you came & pray God moved in your life! We'll call you soon to see how we can serve you.”Link to our new church management system “Rock”https://www.rockrms.com Quotes“If you’re making something better, embrace it.” -Roman Archer “Our legacy as a church, the fruit that we show isn't going to be in the number of seats that we fill but at the end of the day how many people are truly impacted.” -Roman ArcherWe value families, we value kids, and so we want to show that by follow up. Show that they were noticed.’’- Roman Archer “We want to give where we know that’s fruitful and fertile ground. We want to be good stewards of what God has given us.”-Roman Archer “Think through the contents and the lens through which God’s called you to do ministry.”-Daniel King
