Takeaways for LeadersAs a leader, instead of being a do-er you can do a lot more as a developer. Focusing on developing your staff is critical with the culture of your organization for success. Take them on that journey to help them become who they are created to be.As leaders we have one job. Our one job is to make disciples for the work of the ministry, and if we do that, it is measured in the fullness of Christ Jesus. Leadership development is the vision that inspires, but it is also the plumbing that delivers on the dream. You have to do the hard work of laying out the blueprints and the plan to get there instead of just saying XYZ. Some key things to look for in potential leaders are a good attitude and work ethic. You can teach skills all day long but when it comes down to it, character is what makes a leader great. Competency based learning vs. knowledge transfer.
