Takeaways for leaders… On marriage: Learn to open the door to let your spouse help you in the anointed way they were called to. Celebrate with your spouse over the small things. When you stop pointing the finger at each other in your marriage and start pointing it at yourself, your marriage will improve immensely. On ministry: Stay the course in ministry. Learn the lesson of longevity. Check the motives of your ambition. If your “why” is filtered through love, your ambition will be pure. If you are not willing to adjust with culture as a church, your church body will become one-generational. When you understand your “why,” the “how” and the “what” are negotiable. Listen to the people who have bought into the mission of your church. Integrity gives you the ability to lead at a higher capacity. Time + integrity = trust.
