Protect the vision of the church from preferences of a team member. If someone on your team is not willing to protect the vision, that is a lack of leadership. A lack of leadership is a lack of excellence. Excellence is not something that you just say, it is something that you do. Those that sweat in preparation do not bleed in battle. Excellence is doing the best you can with what you have been given. A lack of leadership is a lack of innovation. Always be thinking of new ways to do things. What can you do to make your organization better? What can you change? Don’t be afraid to ask yourself, “If someone were to take my position, what would they change?” in order to gain perspective and inspiration for innovation.
