What keeps us from delegating? We enjoy doing the tasks ourselves We do tasks that make us feel accomplished We do not want to burden someone else and feel guilty asking someone to do less enjoyable tasks We might have control issues and trust issues We feel like we don’t have time to teach someone to do these tasks How do we delegate? Name the task and name who is going to do that task Define the responsibilities Create a timeline of transition Make the ask Execute the timeline Create a follow-up plan and use it Train them to delegate
