Takeaways for Leaders: “Usually things look different in the morning than they do in the moment, so it’s best to try and wait until the morning to address certain moments.” - Joshua Gagnon Addressing issues in the moment typically involves impulsive emotion. Pastor Josh admits that early on in ministry, he always thought he needed the answers in order to solidify his role. However, the older he gets, the more he recognizes that sometimes not giving an answer is actually what solidifies his role. Nobody’s looking for a perfect leader, but they are looking for honest leaders. Honest leaders are people who are honestly imperfect. The best leaders recognize that they got it wrong but are willing to make it right. There’s a major difference between reaction when it comes to a leader and action when it comes to a leader. Take action toward a situation, don’t react towards a person.
