RUF is the official college campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. Les Newsom served as a campus minister for 17 years. In the summer of 2011, Les took a position as an Area Coordinator for RUF in Alabama, Mississippi, West Tennessee, and Arkansas. Serving 20 campuses as a coordinator, he continues to speak at conferences and churches throughout the region.
The word “evangelism” can conjure up all kinds of anxious and oftentimes negative feelings in the lives of believing people. But Paul wants to get the message out about the “mystery” of Christ for entirely different reasons.
