Eternal Life - Lesson 56

The gospel message calls us to be free...in Christ. This allows us to serve one another in love. Consider the apostle Peter. He denied the Lord three times. Yet, Jesus lifted him out of his despair. That's grace. Peter knew the Lord. The love of God compelled him to break away from long held sentiments toward the Gentiles and tell them about Jesus. The gift of grace is Jesus Christ. You have the joy and privilege of knowing him and walking in his love. You have the privilege of making him known in this world of darkness. Rejoice. In Christ, you know the God of the universe. Even more amazing, the God of the universe knows you. And as Jesus said, this is eternal life.
