Free to Serve

What does real greatness look like? In God’s kingdom. the great ones serve. They don’t live to be served. Rather, they care for the needs of others. This is how Jesus said it. For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Through his death, Jesus served you. He cared for your deep spiritual needs. Specifically, he gave himself as a ransom to set you free from the powers of sin and death. The greatness of the Son served you to the fullest extent and he gave you a place among his people. And the Father exalted him to his right hand, the place of honor. We will bow down and worship him forever.
