He Mends Broken Hearts

One Sabbath when Jesus was in Nazareth, he went to the Synagogue to read the Scriptures. He read from Isaiah… “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to bring good news to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind.” When he finished reading, he sat down and said, today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing. This is Jesus’ work. He mends broken hearts. He sets captives free. And opens spiritual eyes to see his love and grace. Is your heart broken today? Do you feel trapped. Are you walking in darkness. If so, let this Scripture be fulfilled in your life today. Turn to Jesus and he will mend your broken heart and set you free.
