The forces of darkness want your heart.
They want you to bow to anything or anyone other than the Lord Jesus Christ.
They want your worship.
This was Satan’s goal for Jesus. He wanted to turn Jesus’s heart away from his Father.
So he took Jesus to the top of a very high mountain and showed him the kingdoms of the world.
All this can be yours if you will just bow down and worship me.
Jesus said to him, “ Away from me Satan! For it is written: “Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.
Here is the good news. Through the power of the cross God rescued your heart and turned it toward him.
Your heart belongs to the Lord.
