Introducing…

It was the greatest introduction the world has ever seen. People had been waiting for this moment for years. John the Baptist was given the honor. The introduction was to take place in an unusual way. John explained, “the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.” One day when he was baptizing in the Jordan, Jesus showed up. And as John lifted him out of the water, a dove descended upon Jesus and a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased.” God’s chosen one — the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world had been revealed. What a privilege for John! Even more so, what a privilege for you to know him as your Lord and Savior.
