RUF is the official college campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America. Les Newsom served as a campus minister for 17 years. In the summer of 2011, Les took a position as an Area Coordinator for RUF in Alabama, Mississippi, West Tennessee, and Arkansas. Serving 20 campuses as a coordinator, he continues to speak at conferences and churches throughout the region.
RUF student Laura Treppendahl was struck by an oncoming car in February of 2004. Les was privileged to speak at her memorial service. This audio was recorded at First Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge, LA.
