Live Forever

“I’ve always had this really strong sense that death was a terrible, terrible thing… I prefer to fight it.I believe if we could enable people to live forever, we should do that.” Now these are the words of Peter Thiel, cofounder of Paypal. He is investing his money into research in hopes to abolish death once and for all. But it will never happen. It is beyond our reach as human beings. The Psalmist put it this way, no one can ever pay enough to live forever and never see the grave. And it is also ridiculous to try to do something God has already done in Christ. He abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. The only way to live forever is through faith in Jesus Christ. In him and him alone is eternal life.
