In Romans 10:3-4, Paul draws the line between the way of the world and the way of Christ. It is the difference between law and grace. Resurrection life is lived by grace through faith. The law can't save us. That is Jesus' job. The law points us to him. The purpose of the law has a purpose and that is to show you your need for Christ. The law diagnoses our spiritual problem, but it cannot provide the cure. The cure is Jesus Christ living in and through us, by faith.
