Making the Most of It: When You Have a Lot

The more you have, the more tempting it can be to make money your god. If you're not careful, you can put your trust and hope in money. We tend to think a lot of money will satisfy. We look to money to be our source of joy, instead of Jesus. We also tend to think a lot of money will make us significant. We judge our worth by our net worth. Money and possessions is how many people determine their own valueit's how we keep score. Sometimes we think a lot of money will make us secure. But in Luke 19, we see a different approach to having a lot.
