Matthew was a Jewish man who worked for the despised Roman government. His life was marked by isolation because he robbed his own people to pay off crooked politicians and kept a portion for himself. Jesus invited this hated man to leave his occupation and lifestyle behind and Matthew didn’t hesitate. He even threw a party so people could meet the man who changed his life. In this message we will look at how our friendship with Jesus can breathe hope into all of our other friendships.
