My Lord and My God

Thomas did not believe his friends when they told him they had seen Jesus. He needed proof. He explained, “unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.
Eight days later, Jesus just appeared in their midst. And he said to Thomas, "put your finger here, and see my hands, and put out your hand and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe!" Thomas saw Jesus. And this proof that he had been raised from the dead moved Thomas to say, "My Lord and my God." It’s the same for you. Because you believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead, you say with your mouth, "My Lord and my God."
