My Soul Glorifies the Lord!

While pregnant, Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. She too was pregnant. Both were overwhelmed by God’s goodness to them. So much so, Mary expressed her heart, My soul glorifies the Lord, She saidand my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.(Luke 1:46-49) Today, let Mary’s words encourage you to rejoice in God and to recognize that you are blessed because God has done great things for you. He made you his child, forgave all of your sins, and raised you up to walk in the newness of life All through the death, burial and resurrection.Jesus Christ.
