One Way

Recently, an influential pastor said that the belief that Jesus is the only way to heaven is “insanity.” Needless to say, his words have reignited the debate about the exclusive claims of Christ. And they are exclusive. And here’s why. We were spiritually dead and in need of life. That is and was man’s problem. And there is not a law, or a religious system that can make us alive spiritually. Only Jesus can, because he is the only one who has life to give. As He said, I have come so that you might have life and have it abundantly. It is as simple as this. If you have the Son you have life. If you don’t have the Son, you don’t have life. Let’s be bold in declaring that there is one way to be made alive and that is by grace, through faith in Jesus.
