Steve Wiens joins us to tackle what many commentaries refer to as one of Jesus' hardest parables to understand, Luke 16:1-9. The Pharisees have been grumbling about the people Jesus hangs out with, so Jesus tells this story to stir the pot really hard. Steve hold that the shrewd manager is actually a picture of the scandalous grace of the Gospel, and that (Steve's words) "The brilliance of this parable is that while we're objecting, 'Yeah, but this guy's dishonest!
