Set Apart to Love Others

Every believer wants to know the will of God. Concerning sexual immorality, the Bible is abundantly clear. 1 Thessalonians 4 puts it this way. For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; Well you have been sanctified, or set apart. As 1 Corinthians 6:11 states, "you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." Not only that — you know God. You know his love and grace and forgiveness and mercy. And it's this knowledge of God that reshapes how you view and treat others. Now the lost world is still bound by the cravings of the flesh. But not you, you’ve been set apart to love others as God in Christ loves you.
