Storms of Life

One day when Jesus and his disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee, a furious storm arose. It was so fierce, waves swept over the boat. Now while the storm was raging, Jesus was asleep, until his disciples woke him up screaming, “Lord save us, we are going to drown.” Jesus said to them, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid.” It was like he was saying, don’t you know who’s in the boat with you? And he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves and everything was calm. And they were amazed. A storm of life may be raging around you right now. And it’s fierceness is making you afraid. If so, remember Jesus is in the boat with you. Trust him. He will calm the storm.
