Letter from Steve Dulin | February 2011Hello everyone,I want to personally thank you for being a part of Habitation. I am very excited about what God is going to do in our lives as we hear, believe and obey Him. I believe He will show up and do great things in us and through us, for His glory. The Purpose of Habitation Habitation is about each of us deepening our relationship with God and experiencing His presence in our lives. As we seek God and turn to Him, He will pour out His Holy Spirit on us, increasing our individual and corporate anointing (Joel 2:13–29).Individual anointing is the presence of the Holy Spirit on you, in you and working through you. A corporate anointing is created when we gather together in a sacred assembly, joining our individual anointings to create a corporate anointing. When there is a corporate anointing, the Holy Spirit will often move among us in a greater way than He does in an individual setting (see Acts 2). As our individual anointing increases, it will raise our corporate anointing. It’s about us joining together as one people, in one place, at one moment in time, for God to show up and do supernatural things.Increasing Your Anointing My heart is to help you increase your personal anointing so you can live the overcoming Christian life and do great things for God. I will give you an assignment at each Habitation service to provide simple, practical ways to build your faith and increase your personal anointing.February Service Assignment The February Habitation service focused on The Foundation of Faith in our Christian walk. In John 14:12, Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do.” The only prerequisite to do greater works than Jesus is to believe in Him. Since we all want to do great works for God, our goal for this month is to increase our faith, which will increase our individual anointing.Your assignment is to read through the book of John and ask yourself, “What is God trying to get me to believe?” As God shows you what He wants you to believe, your responsibility is to work on having strong faith, believing Him and then doing what He says. If you will do your part, God will show and do what only He can do. Biblical faith is believing what God says no matter what, even when circumstances, feelings and emotions tell you otherwise. And great faith is believing God to the end.The Next Habitation Service The next Habitation service will be on Sunday, March 20. We will have a special time of prophecy and prayer in the sanctuary at 5:00 pm, with the service beginning at 6:00 pm.Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Habitation. I look forward to seeing you at the next Habitation service.God Bless,Steve Dulin
