Letter from Steve Dulin | March 2011 Hello everyone,I want to personally thank you for being a part of Habitation. I am very excited about what God is going to do in our lives as we hear, believe and obey Him. He is going to show up and do great things in us and through us, for His glory. March Habitation Service Our March Habitation service focused on The Hope of Heaven. (Watch the Service) We all want heaven on earth, but God does not give us heaven on earth. He allows tests and trials in our lives to build our faith and give us opportunities to get rewards in heaven. That is one reason we can “count it all joy when we fall into various trials” (James 1:2). God also gives each of us different talents and abilities. We are not to compare ourselves with others (2 Corinthians 10:12) but to do the best we can with what we have. What we do on earth determines what rewards we get in heaven. The harder life is, if you’re living for God, the greater opportunity you have to gain rewards in heaven (Matthew 5:11–12).God thinks life is a series of tests. God wants us to have relationship with Him despite the darkness and the evil that exist on earth. Will you obey God when you are going through trials and cannot see Him clearly? Will you still love, believe and worship God? Will you walk by faith? God is a rewarder (Hebrews 11:6) and He will reward you, if not on earth, then in heaven. He delights in writing final chapters.March AssignmentYour assignment this month is to evaluate how you view life. When trials come, do you view them from an earthly perspective, as a difficulty to bear, or from an eternal perspective, as an opportunity to be faithful and earn rewards in heaven? Ask God to help you see your life from His perspective and strengthen you to be a good and faithful servant (Matthew 25:21, 23). He will be faithful, and it will increase your faith as you hear, believe and obey Him. Increasing Your Anointing This month, continue to work on increasing your personal anointing. (Read About Personal and Corporate Anointing) As we each increase our personal anointing, the level of our corporate anointing at Habitation will increase, inviting the Holy Spirit to move among us in greater ways, for His glory. The Next Habitation ServicesThe next Habitation service is Sunday, April 17. We will have a special time of prayer and ministry in the Auditorium at 5:15 pm, and the service begins at 6:00 pm. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Habitation. I look forward to seeing you at the next Habitation service. God Bless, Steve Dulin For more information, email habitation@gatewaypeople.com.
