Leaders lead in one of two ways.
They either rule over people and use people to further their own selfish ambitions.
They power-hungry leaders often, as we have seen in the headlines lately, take advantage and abuse those in their charge.
The second group leads by serving.
Jesus explained this way of leadership to his disciples.
“whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant…"
Now the difference gets down to your view of people.
One sees people as objects to use for his or her personal gain.
The other sees that all people possess infinite worth in the sight of God.
As a believer in Christ. Take the lead on this front and show the world that caring and serving those on your team is the best way to lead.
