Just a Minute! - Bob Christopher The Gospel. It is the power of God unto salvation. For the Israelites, God’s power parted the red sea and delivered them to safety and freedom. That day, as Moses wrote, the Lord saved Israel from the hands of the Egyptians. Your salvation was and is even more miraculous. You see, you were dead in trespasses and sins. And only the power of God can make you alive. He demonstrated that power 2000 years ago when he raised Jesus back to life. On the day that you believed, God’s resurrection power made you alive in Christ. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead, raised you to walk in the newness of life. This is the power of the Gospel, the power that saved you!
