The Word Of Humanity (Outline)

When Jesus said, “I am thirsty” as he hung on the cross, he showed his humanity as he prepared to die for our sins. As Christians, when we thirst, we are actually longing for something that only God can provide—the nourishment of his Word. We have all heard people we know say things like, “I am unfulfilled” or “my life lacks meaning.” When we hear declarations like that, it means those people are spiritually thirsty.
